POLILIGHT LIGHTWEIGHT POLYESTER PUTTY


Properties

Polikor polilight is a premium quality lightweight putty with excellent adhesion, sanding, shaping and knifing properties. With the addition of benzoyl peroxide (the hardening substance) it readily hardens even at low temperatures (down to 5XC). As a universal lightweight putty, Polikor Polilight combines all the best technical features required of a premium filler. It has a butter-like workability with a creamy texture for a smoother application. Polikor polilight provides a smooth, pinhole and tack-free surface with absolutely no shrinkage after curing.

Application Surfaces

It has perfect adhesion to galvanized steel, iron, aluminium, wood, stone and most of the commonly used plastics due to the high quality polyester resin and the hollow parts of the charges used.

Application

The surface should be clean and free from oil, grease, wax and dirt. It can be used a 80-180 grit disc to remove or scuff paint. Before application, surface must completely be dry.

Hardener:1-3
Gel Time:3-5 min, depending on temperature and proportion of hardener
Sanding:15-20 min. 20XC (Exceptionally easy to sand)
Sanding Paper:P-150 - P-180

Packaging

Polikor polilight is supplied in 1000 ml tin can including hardener.

Storage

Polilight polyester putty should be kept in its original can and in a cool place with the lid securely closed. Under suitable condition it can be stored for one year at temperatures up to 25XC.

Caution

Flammable. Harmful if inhaled. Vapors may cause flash fire. Irritating to eyes and skin. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product. Do not breathe the vapors. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Use only in well ventilated areas away from heat and flames. Keep out of reach of children. Do not return unused mixed meterial to can. It should only be used by trained professionals.
