Principle Properties

Poliglaze autobody fine putty is a semiflexible, polyester based finishing putty with excellent adhesion, shaping and sanding properties. It has a butter-like workability with a creamy texture for a smoother application. With the addition of benzoyl peroxide (the hardening substance) it readily hardens even at low temperatures (down to 5XC) Poliglaze autobody fine putty provides a fine, pinhole and tack-free surface with absolutely no shrinkage after curing. It minimizes staining of basecoat for an easier clear-coat application when applied on conventional putties.

Application Surfaces

Poliglaze autobody fine putty can be applied to bare metal, including aluminium, galvanized steel, SMC, FRP as well as old painted metal surfaces.

Application

The surface should be clean and free from oil, grease, wax and dirt. It can be used a 80-180 grit disc to remove or scuff paint. Before application, surface must completely be dry.

Gel Time:3-5 min, depending on temperature and proportion of hardener
Sanding:15-20 min. 20XC
Sanding Paper:Rough sand cured putty to desired contour and finish sanding with finer grit.

Storage

Poliglaze polyester putty should be kept in its original can and in a cool place with the lid securely closed. Under suitable condition it can be stored for one year at temperatures up to 25XC.

Caution

Flammable. Harmful if inhaled. Vapors may cause flash fire. Irritating to eyes and skin. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product. Do not breathe the vapors. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Use only in well ventilated areas away from heat and flames. Keep out of reach of children. Do not return unused mixed meterial to can. It should only be used by trained professionals.
