
POLIKOR POLYESTER SPRAY FILLER
Principle Properties
Polikor polyester spray filler is an air-drying, semiflexible, high reactive unsaturated polyester based filler combined with very good filling, flow, adhesion and sanding properties. Due to the high solid content it has high filling capasity and it can be sprayed on metal surfaces several times to obtain 200-300 £gm cured films.
Density:1.50 ¡Ó 0.05 g./cm3, 20¢XC
Color: Light gray/yellow
Application Surfaces
It can be applied on metal, FRP and wood surfaces by spray gun.
Application
The surface should be clean and free from oil, grease, wax and dirt. It can be used a 80-180 grit disc to remove or scuff paint. Before application, surface must completely be dry.
Mixing Ratio:Polikor Spray Filler 1500 g.
Hardener:(Cyclohegzanone peroxide) 25 g.
30-45 minutes at 20¢XC
Sanding:25¢XC 2-3 Hours / 60¢XC 30 Minutes / 80¢XC 15 Minutes / Below 20¢XC Overnight
Application Air Pressure:2-4 bar (kp)
Spray Gun Nozzle Diameter:2-3.5 mm
Sanding Paper:1P - 120 - 150 dry sanding / 2P - 180 - 240 / 1P - 150 - 180 Wet sanding / 2P - 220 - 240
Packaging
Polikor polyester spray filler is supplied in standart 1.5 Kg. can together with 25 ml. hardener.
Storage
Polikor polyester spray filler should be kept in its original can in a cool dark place. It can be stored for at least six months at temperatures up to 25¢XC. Higher temperatures shorten its shelf life.
Caution
Flammable. Harmful if inhaled. Vapors may cause flash fire. Irritating to eyes and skin. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product. Do not breathe the vapors. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Use only in well ventilated areas away from heat and flames. Keep out of reach of children. Do not return unused mixed meterial to can. It should only be used by trained professionals.
