Principle Properties

Rekor polyurethane 0114 is a polyurethane based, semiflexible thixotropic putty compound which can be used for surface coating, sealing and corrosion protection purposes. It has good chemical resistance properties against sea water, water, various corrosive and aggressive environments combined with very good impact resistance, flexibility and adhesion properties.

Application Surfaces

It can be used for protection of various surfaces against water and moisture penetration. It can also be used as a car repair putty to fill and smooth the surface irregularities. Due to the corrosion resistance properties it is a good base for corrosion protection of various concrete or metal based storage tanks, process vessels and pipes.

Mixing Ratio:Rekor Polyurethane 0114 - 6 - by weight
Hardener:(MDI) - 1 - by weight
Gel Time:30-45 min, 20°C
Curing Time:24 Hours, Maximum mechanical and chemical resistance values can be obtained within one week.

Packaging

Rekor polyurethane 0114 are supplied in standart 1 kg., 5 kg., 25 kg. cans together with hardeners.

Storage

Rekor polyurethane 0114 should be kept in its original cans in a cool dark place. Under suitable conditions it can be stored for one year.

Caution

Flammable. Harmful if inhaled. Vapors may cause flash fire. Irritating to eyes and skin. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product. Do not breathe the vapors. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Use only in well ventilated areas away from heat and flames. Keep out of reach of children. Do not return unused mixed meterial to can. It should only be used by trained professionals.
